Projects were invented by three third graders as part of the LAMP program in Prescott schools. From left: Erin Boatman-Smaida demonstrates her “Easy-Burn Candle,” designed to prevent burning oneself when lighting candles. Kyle Fohrenkamm created the “Popcorn Table.” It keeps everything a person would need to make popcorn within arm’s reach of the coffee table, so as to not miss a single moment of his/her television show or movie. Kailani Newton is holding her “Food Pumper.” Her invention keeps any kind of food accessible so television shows and movies are not missed.
