This 1909 Buick Model F was one of approximately 700 cars that filled the Pierce County Fairgrounds Sunday for the 32nd annual Beldenville Old Car Club Show. Organizers said this year’s edition was one of the better ones due to the quantity of cars and vendors. “When we go around and talk to people in the crowd, one of the common things we hear is ‘don’t change a thing’,” said Barb Place, one of the organizers. “The fairgrounds is a favorite spot for them.” Those sentiments were echoed by Ken Ganz of Alma, who showed the Buick. Ganz has been bringing cars to Ellsworth for nearly the last six years. “It’s one I usually try to make,” he said. “It’s a good show and they do a nice job of putting it together.” The Buick was a hit Sunday with the fellow collectors, as it was voted “Best in Class” for its class. -- Photo by Jason Schulte
