The “Drive-Thru Coffee Difference” was introduced in the parking lot of Crossroad Community Church, just west of Ellsworth on Hwy. 10-63, Wednesday morning. Commuters were invited to stop by for coffee and refreshments plus a brief prayer time before heading on their way. The occasion is described as “a friendly way to do something for early commuters as well as reaching out into the community and touching the lives of others!” Last week’s serving crew, from left to right, Denise Ritchie, Annette Pullen and Marie Christiansen (who served coffee to Kari Langer, right) credited the help of Angel Anderson, Jenny Kruse, Jolee Siedschlag, John Hines, and Jim and Jane Nelson in the program. It’s scheduled to return the first Wednesday of each month from 5 to 8 a.m.
