Barbara Jacoby, 93 - Services Updated

Barbara Elizabeth (Brooks) Jacoby, age 93, of Hager City, passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 6, at Park View Nursing Home in Woodville, Wis.

She was born on Feb. 28, 1919, to Horace and Hazel (Fink) Brooks in Green Lake, Wis. She married William “Bill” Jacoby on Feb. 18, 1943, in Green Lake. Barbara was active in the Pierce County Historical Society, Campfire Girls in Chicago, and active in the Democratic Party.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Bill; children Larry (Judy Moses) Jacoby of Downing, Wis., Lynne (Barry) Butenhoff of River Falls, Wis.; grandchildren, Lisa (Jason) Campbell of Suamico, Wis., and Amanda (Chad) Moss of Ellsworth, Wis.; great-grandchildren, Elise, Grant, and Liana Campbell and Eric Moss.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Phillip Brooks Jacoby; brother Wells Dudley Brooks.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at First Congregational United Church of Christ in River Falls. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the church.
