Carol Mae Weber Wittig, 81, a retired Clark County School District secretary, and 59-year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 28 after a very long and debilitating illness - Parkinson's disease.
Carol Mae Weber Wittig, 81, a retired Clark County School District secretary, and 59-year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 28 after a very long and debilitating illness - Parkinson's disease.
Carol was born to Phillip and Margaret Weber July 28, 1930. She married Jack Wittig June 22, 1952.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 46 years, Jack; three brothers, Delbert Weber, Roger Weber, and Dan Weber; and brother-in-law Morris Webb.
Carol is survived by her five children, Patsy (Mike) Roberts, Mike (Becky) Wittig, Tony (Loretta) Wittig, Kathy (George) Glasper, and Bill Wittig, all of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren, Jennifer, Blake, Lindsey, Danielle, Andrew, Rachel, Rebekah, Aaron, Ruth, Adam, Spender, Carol, and Ryan; six great-grandchildren; five sisters, Elaine (Lon) Thompson of Prescott, Wis., Joyce (Lester) Hines of Ellsworth, Wis., Mary Webb of Elmwood, Wis., Margie (Jim) Carter of Wheeler, Wis., and Barb (Kelly) Rassbach of Menomonie, Wis.; five brothers, Phil (Jane) Weber Jr. of South Milwaukee, Wis., Leon (Shirley) Weber of Hartland, Wis., Dave (Christine) Weber of Waukesha, Wis., Patrick (Marlene) Weber of Rome, Wis., and Tom (Sharon) Weber of Elmwood; four sisters-in-law, Elaine Weber of Menomonie, Myrna Weber of Elmwood, Marilyn Mayers of Las Vegas, and Bonnie (Dick) Scott of San Mateo, Calif.; as well as over 60 nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas. Burial following at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd. N. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, 888 W. Bonneville, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Please note Carol's name with any donations.
