Delores Mae (Blue) Johnson, 77, Prescott, Wis., died Dec. 23 in Prescott, surrounded by family and friends.
Born March 3, 1934, in Nelson, Wis., the daughter of John and Vidella (Hanvelt) Blue. She attended Ellsworth schools and was married to LaVerne "Bud" Johnson on Dec. 2, 1950, in Ellsworth, Wis. She moved to Prescott in 1965 and worked in the surrounding area bartending. She also worked at Ptacek's IGA.
In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards, going up north, traveling to Vegas, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by one son, Larry (Patti) Johnson of Prescott; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Elaine O'Connor of Bay City; two brothers, Jim (Karen) of Red Wing and John "Mickey" (Wendy) of Red Wing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers;, Richard, Ed, and Donald; daughter, Kathy Rosenboom; son Craig; and granddaughter Tara Waller.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, at the Hill Funeral Home in Prescott. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until the time of service.
