Jane Dohrer, 67
Jane Cynthia Dohrer, age 67, of Ellsworth, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Fairview University Hospital.
Jane was born on Sept. 17, 1944, in Red Wing, Minn., to Russell and Alice (Peterson) Hanson. She was a graduate of Ellsworth High School and attended beauty school. She married Harvey Dohrer May 17, 1969, in Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Beldenville, Wis.
Jane was a loving mother and wife. She enjoyed getting together with her family and going to the lake. She would light up every time she saw her grandchildren. She was a very generous and caring person; she will truly be missed.
Jane is survived by her husband, Harvey of Ellsworth; children: Petra (Robert) Iberg, Hager City; James (Carla) Dohrer, Ellsworth; Timothy (Isabel) Dohrer, Ellsworth; Anthony (Jeny) Dohrer, Ellsworth; Mitzi (Micheal) Blair, Prescott; Rebecca Dohrer, Ellsworth; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Dohrer, Jenna Dohrer, Jada Iberg, Alex Iberg, Albert Dohrer, Elizabeth Dohrer, Lucas Blair, Vanessa Dohrer; parents, Russell and Alice Hanson, Ellsworth; two brothers and one sister: Glen (Luli) Hanson, Woodbury, Minn.; Linda (Glenn) Hinton, Hastings, Minn.; Palmer (Debby) Hanson, Prescott, Wis.
Jane was preceded in death by two infant daughters and granddaughter Jaime Dohrer.
Funeral services for Jane will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, at River Falls Assembly of God Church, River Falls, Wis. Pastor Michael Bechtold will officiate. Burial will be in Our Savior's Cemetery, Beldenville. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth, and for 1 hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be sons, Jim, Tim, and Tony Dohrer; brothers, Glen and Palmer Hanson; and grandson Jon Dohrer.
