Frank Vasquez, age 70, of Spring Valley, Wis., died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Woodwinds Hospital, Woodbury, Minn.
Frank Vasquez, age 70, of Spring Valley, Wis., died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Woodwinds Hospital, Woodbury, Minn.
Preceded in death by his parents, George R. and Matilda; brother George S.; sister Carmen; and brother-in-law Pat Esparza.
Survived by loving wife of 35 years, Patricia; daughter, Suzanne "Tooie" and son-in-law, Jack Kennedy; grandchildren: his two "main men," Jordan and Jesse, and "Katinka" Jacqueline; siblings Mike (Petra), Matilda (Gerald) Funes, Mary Esparza; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Claude Coolidge, Max (Jean) Coolidge, Maxine Coolidge, Josephine (Edward) Smith, Esperanza Vasquez, and Louie Sirian; also other family and many friends: Gary Johnson, Dan Johnson, Doug Raehsler, Dan Tobritzhofer, Marlon Anderson, Joe Esparza, Jack Kennedy, Jordan Kennedy, and Jesse Kennedy.
Frank worked for the American Hoist & Derrick Co. for 23 years and then became a creative leather craftsmen. He also was an avid showmen and horse trainer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with his grandkids. Interment: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, El Paso Twp, Wis.
Graveside service 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, St. Joseph's Cemetery, El Paso. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Friday with a 7:45 evening service at Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley, and 10-11 a.m. Saturday at funeral home prior to graveside service.
