Nancy G. Buckner, age 65, died peacefully after a long illness in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Nancy G. Buckner, age 65, died peacefully after a long illness in Fairbanks, Alaska.

She is survived by her two children, Roxanne (Dave) Lester of Fairbanks and Chad (Laura) Gallmeier of Baldwin, Wis. Surviving grandchildren are Carl, Zachery, Sam, and Jamison. Other surviving family members are her four sisters, Kay (Rodney) Kinneman of Hager City, Wis., Betty (Jerry) Gutting of Ellsworth, Wis., Carmen (Dave) Evenson of Chetek, Wis., Brenda (Ken) Bauer of Durand, Wis., and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Charlotte Buckner, and her infant grandson Jacob.

Nancy graduated from Ellsworth High School and spent many years in the Pierce, St. Croix areas. She eventually moved to Fairbanks where she enjoyed the last 12 years with her grandchildren.

Nancy will be laid to rest near Fairbanks.
