Terry L. Barber, 59, of Barron, died Thursday, May 3, from injuries resulting from an automobile accident.

Terry L. Barber, 59, of Barron, died Thursday, May 3, from injuries resulting from an automobile accident.

He was born April 30, 1953, in St. Paul, Minn., to Harvey and Dorothy (Ward) Barber, and was raised in Stillwater, where he graduated from high school in 1971. He then served in the U.S. Navy. After his service, Terry worked at Metal Matics. He lived in the Barron area for the past 5 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah of Barron; his son, Tony (Kayla) of Ellsworth; grandsons, Elijah and Julien Barber of Ellsworth; three sisters, Christine Ogren of Barron, Roxanne (Donald) Hintz of Lakeville, Minn., and Diane (Wayne) Classen of Cold Spring, Minn.; three brothers, Tim Barber of Clear Lake, Wis., Tom (Terri) Barber of St. Anthony, Minn., and Richard (Marlene) Barber of Cold Spring, Minn., and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Skinner Funeral Home, Turtle Lake, with Rev. Todd Ertsgaard officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater, Minn. Military honors will be accorded by Donalds-Hylkema Post #137 American Legion of Turtle Lake.

Skinner Funeral Home of Turtle Lake is serving the family.
