Shirley R. Raechke, age 93, of Ellsworth, died peacefully on May 26 at Ellsworth Care Center in Ellsworth.
Shirley R. Raechke, age 93, of Ellsworth, died peacefully on May 26 at Ellsworth Care Center in Ellsworth.
Preceded in death by husband, Ralph Raechke; parents, Benjamin and Minnie Parmeter; three sisters, Elsie Upsal, Irene Nadeau and Elida Nadeau.
Survived by loving children, Steven (Jo Keller) Raechke and Diane (David) Harden; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Frances Ostrander.
Shirley loved gardening and canning, but most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, May 31, at English Lutheran Church in Ellsworth. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, at Hill Funeral Home in Ellsworth, and also 1 hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Interment at Maple Grove Cemetery next to her husband, Ralph.
