Marian Alice Bach, 88, of Bay City, died Tuesday, June 5, at Plum City Care Center, Plum City, Wis.

Marian Alice Bach, 88, of Bay City, died Tuesday, June 5, at Plum City Care Center, Plum City, Wis.

She was born March 2, 1924, in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of Emil and Agnes Stock. She graduated from River Falls High School, River Falls, Wis. She married Raymond Bach on August 27, 1940, in St. Paul, Minn. They lived in Bay City, then they lived in Montana for 10 years where she worked various jobs. They moved back to Bay City in 1960 and she worked for Red Wing Shoe Company for many years until retirement. Raymond died May 30, 2006.

She was a member of the Bay City Harding Hall Darrington VFW #357 Auxiliary and she enjoyed fishing, camping, quilting, gardening and flowers.

Survivors include her three children: Shirley (Tom) Upchurch of Spokane, Wash., John (Joan) Bach of Bay City and Shannon (Ron Arden) Bach of Bay City; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; thirteen great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Joyce (Gene) Olson of Bay City; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; three children: Jim, Sharon and Sherry Bach; and two brothers: Don and Leo Stock.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 8, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Dar Reeck officiating. Burial will be in Bay City Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 7, and on Friday for 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
