Mary was born on April 7, 1922, in Big River, Wis., to John and Margaret (Huppert) Murphy. She married Reuben Hamman in 1947 at Big River.
Mary is survived by four children, Vicki Nielsen, Tom (Lori) Hamman, Jeff Hamman, and Trisha (Jay) Foreman; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Patrick, and Katie Warner, Kris Nelson, and Emily Waitz; four great-grandchildren, Claire and Ella Warner and Maggie and Anna Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben, in 2007; sons Michael and James; two sisters and five brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Prescott. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, at the Hill Funeral Home, Prescott. No visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday.
