Myrna O. Johnson, 75, of Red Wing, died on Sept. 11 at the Red Wing Health Center.

She was born on Aug. 27, 1937, in Red Wing, to Walter and Hilma (Setter) Johnson. Myrna attended school in Ellsworth and later furthered her education in Eau Claire. She then worked at 3M in Rochester. She married Glen Steffenhagen, and they later divorced. She lived in Baldwin for many years. For the past 3 years, Myrna was a resident of Red Wing Health Center.
She enjoyed her flowers, cats, camping, and being with her family.
Survivors include one sister, Edna (Carl) Wood of Bay City; three brothers, Delbert Johnson of Red Wing, Sonny Johnson of Pine City, Berkley (Dana) Johnson of Shawno, Wis.; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Myrna was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Clyde, and one sister, Ardella; and longtime partner, Ed Mewhorter.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14 , at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing, with Howard Stenerson officiating. Burial was in the Bay City Cemetery. Visitation was for 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to the Goodhue County Humane Society or March of Dimes.
