Alfred William Falteisek, age 98, of Ellsworth, Wis., died peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Kinnic Health and Rehab in River Falls, Wis.
Alfred William Falteisek, age 98, of Ellsworth, Wis., died peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Kinnic Health and Rehab in River Falls, Wis.
He was born on Aug. 13, 1914, to Peter and Amelia (Brooks) Falteisek in Cherma, Wis. Alfred farmed for most of his life. He was a graduate of River Falls High School. He lovingly cared for his mother for a big part of his life. Alfred married late in life to Jeanette Dunn Hageman. They were married for 36 years.
Alfred sang in the Resurrection Choir at St. Francis Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; two nephews and one niece; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister.
A memorial service for Alfred will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday Oct. 8, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Ellsworth, Wis., with Father Gerald Harris officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
