James R. Shonkwiler, 46

James R. Shonkwiler, age 46, of Mattoon, Ill., formerly of Ellsworth, Wis., passed away at 9:15 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, at Palm Terrace in Mattoon due to complications from pancreatic cancer.

Per his wishes, Jim will be cremated. A private memorial graveside service will be held at a later date in Dodge Grove Cemetery. In honor of Jim, memorial donations may be made in his honor to the Catholic church he loved: St. Mary Catholic Church, W10145 570th Ave., River Falls, WI 54022.
