Joan C. (Killian) Thom of Prescott, Wis., died on Monday, March 11, at the Kinnic Health and Rehab in River Falls, Wis.
She was born on April 12, 1933, to Raymond and Clara (Hrdina) Killian in Big River, Wis. She graduated from River Falls High School. She married Louis Thom on March 24, 1956, at St. Bridget in River Falls. She worked at the River Falls Area Hospital as a medical transcriptionist for 35 years.
She enjoyed reading, traveling, bird watching, and bingo. Joan loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Louis; children: Luanne (Terry) Pechacek of River Falls and their children, Shalane and Hillary; and Michelle (Dennis) Conway of Prescott and their children, Alexa and Ryan and Connor; siblings, Norman Killian of Prescott and Leona Eggers of Cuba City, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Prescott. There will be a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
