Captain Eugene G. Tronnier of Prescott, age 82, died peacefully at home Friday, March 15.
A memorial service for Eugene will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 21, at Joy Lutheran Church in Prescott, Wis. Visitation will be on Wednesday night from 4-8 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home in Prescott and for 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday.

I was saddned by Eugen's death. We had very spirited communications back and forth via dear editor letters. He was one of the few who was involved in public discussions to enhance our community.
