Roxanne Jean Lemmerhirt, 46

Roxanne Jean Lemmerhirt, age 46, of Red Wing, died unexpectedly Friday, May 25, in Red Wing.

She was born on Aug. 9, 1965, in Red Wing, the daughter of Vernon and Dorothy (Betterley) Lemmerhirt. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School. She worked at the Red Wing Health Center for many years.

She enjoyed horseback riding, horses, ducks, and chickens. She also wrote children's stories about animals when she was young. Roxanne was a past member of the Hay Creek Saddle Club.

She is survived by three siblings, Rick Lemmerhirt, Randy (Sally) Lemmerhirt, and Robyn (Al) Lemmerhirt, all of Red Wing; three nephews, Shaun, Matt, and Josh Lemmerhirt; one great-nephew, Aydyn Lemmerhirt.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Memorial service was held 7 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, with Dar Reeck officiating. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation was from 5 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
