Gilkerson Family

Shannon and Tommy Gilkerson (Robert) lost two infant children. A benefit is planned for Feb. 23 to support the family.

  • Submitted Photos<br /><br />Tommy and Shannon Gilkerson hold their daughter Hadley Ray during her brief life. Hadley was born at 24 weeks and lived for only four hours. Hadley had a genetic disease which made her kidneys unable to function properly. Hadley was the second baby the Gilkersons lost.
  • Cash William Gilkerson is Tommy and Shannon Gilkerson’s son. He died on Dec. 28, 2011, after being born prematurely. In utero, Cash suffered from fetal hydrops. He lived for about eight hours while doctors worked to save him.
