Melvin and Geraldine Nielsen of River Falls Township will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner and dance on Saturday, Aug. 18, at the American Legion Hall, 701 N Main St. The dinner will be from 4-7 p.m., with a dance from 7-11 p.m. The event will be hosted by the couple’s three children, Jeff Nielson, JoAnne Brager and Janet Landgraf.
