The light of a pilot program which began in 1974 is still on in 2012. WestCap a private, non-profit charitable organization based out of Glenwood City, contracts itself to the state of Wisconsin, receiving grants from the U.S. Department of Energy and from utilities, to weatherize homes in a seven-county area of western Wisconsin.

Prescott hopes to build a winning streak over Somerset
It’s no secret Somerset High School has had more success than Prescott in football since both schools moved up from the Dunn-St. Croix Conference to the Middle Border in 2002. Yet it’s not like the Cardinals haven’t been competitive though and when they finally beat the Spartans last season for the first time since both squads were in the D-SC, it was a hopeful sign the Redbirds can be more than just .500 range squad.
