Non-profit holds raffle Tried and True, a non-profit thrift store located in Ellsworth, is celebrating their first-year anniversary. A raffle for in-store gift certificates was held. The first place winner was Carley Kinneman, age three. The second hand store accepts donations from the community. The items are sold to the public at a low cost. Many of the workers are volunteers.

You want me to what? Today? Brrrr. RFAH raises funds for Our Neighbor's House National Nurses Week is May 6-12. The nurses at River Falls Area Hospital celebrated by hosting a dunk tank event. Employees had the opportunity to donate funds for a chance to “dunk" hospital leaders. (And hospital leaders who wanted a “pass” at the dunk were asked to instead make a donation!) Over $225 was raised. All proceeds are being donated to Our Neighbor's House.
