New sex education bill passes State Senate 
Wisconsin News- If a public school teaches sex education, it will soon have to teach kids about birth control and sexually transmitted diseases if it doesn’t already. The Wisconsin Senate passed the bill on an 18-15 party line yesterday with all Republicans voting no. The bill now goes to Governor Jim Doyle, who says he’ll sign it.

Plans expanded for flu clinics opening 
Beginning this Thursday, the Wisconsin Division of Public Health will expand the targeted high risk groups of people who can receive the H1N1 influenza vaccine, according to information from the Pierce County Public Health Department.
