Spring Valley High School's track and field teams didn't run their first meet until the end of April even though the season began almost a month an half earlier. But Monday's WIAA Division 3 Boyceville Regional the Cardinal boys and girls teams were finally at their best.

This year's Ellsworth Fuller Invitational prep track and field meet was important not just because it was held for the first time in a few years at the EHS track after it had been resurfaced but also because it was the first outdoor meet of the season for both Ellsworth and Prescott.
