Iowa State eliminates Minnesota from NCAA tourney 
Minnesota Sports-- Iowa State University ended the Minnesota volleyball team's run through the NCAA tournament Friday with a 3-1 win in the regional semifinals at the U's Sports Pavilion.

Verona upset in state volleyball tournament
Wisconsin Sports-- Undefeated Verona was eliminated last night in the Division 1 quarter-finals of the state girls' high school volleyball tournament. Verona ended its season at 42-1, after losing to Milwaukee Divine Savior Holy Angels in five sets at the Resch Center.

Prescott, Plum City spikers play for regional titles tonight
What's the one thing Mary Kate Pryor is looking forward to when her Prescott High School volleyball team takes on Grantsburg in the WIAA Division 3 regional tournament finals?
"A really big upset." Pryor said.
Indeed it will be if Pryor and the Cardinals can take down the state's top-ranked team Saturday in Grantsburg. The match begins at 7 p.m.
