TO THE EDITOR: When I became aware the Pierce County Building Committee was spending a huge sum of taxpayers’ money to renovate the court house front lawn, whereby removing the two large 100-year-old oak trees, I decided to find out the facts at the next meeting.
TO THE EDITOR: It is to our understanding the Pierce County Building Committee wants to cut down the landmark Northern Red Oak trees in front of the historical Pierce County Courthouse we believe were planted when the courthouse was built.

TO THE EDITOR: As I browse through the local newspapers, there seems to always be some article concerning the push to bring Prescott into the new world by spending 10’s of millions of tax dollars on a new school.
