Arson investigators are asking the public's help in investigating the Tuesday morning fire that has closed the St. Croix Central Elementary building for the rest of the school year.

Art studios open for visits April 27
A nonprofit organization, Wisconsin Northwest Heritage Passage, is sponsoring a day for citizens to visit five local art studios within the St. Croix Valley. The event is Saturday, April 27, beginning at 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Threshing bee and barn dance planned Aug. 18-19
The St. Croix Valley Collectors Association will hold their 27th annual Threshing Bee and Barn Dance on Saturday, Aug. 18 and Sunday, Aug. 19 at the Village Park in Roberts. An Antique and Garden Tractor Pull will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Trigger Happy will perform at 7 p.m. On Sunday, threshing events will start at 10 a.m. with a parade at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be supplied by the Roberts Lions Club.
