Plum City native Ashley Hinrichs not only won a Lia Sophia contest drawing for jewlery, but also to donate to a non-profit organization with the contest proceeds, which she chose the Plum City Food Pantry. Hinrichs hands a check for the donation to Leonard Dodson.

Pollock promises no quick fixes for Plum City
With the success Plum City High School’s female athletes have had in volleyball and in track and field, it stands to reason such athletes would at least be okay when it comes to the sport of basketball. But Plum City’s new head coach John Pollock knows there a reason why the Blue Devils have gone 1-42 over their last 43 ballgames going back to the end of the 2008 season.

Ewers charged with PC bank robbery and drunk driving
Denton R. Ewers, 48, 1546 S. Wasson Lane, River Falls, was charged Monday, Nov. 21, with robbing a Plum City Bank and drunk driving-7th offense. The charges were made in Pierce County Circuit Court.
