Couple meets President
Kevin and Connie (Trok) Olivera met President Barrack Obama. President Obama was the guest speaker at the Democratic National Committee Major Donor Dinner at the National Museum for Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. The Oliveras performed the music for this event in March. Connie is an Ellsworth native, having graduated from Ellsworth High School and Lawrence University in Appleton. She is the daughter of Burton and Darlene Trok of Ellsworth.

Local artist releases LP
Jessica Miska, an Ellsworth native, has released her first LP/album, “Addict!” Miska is a singer/songwriter artist who has been living in New York City for four years and performs original R&B/pop music. The LP as well as singles are currently available for purchase online through various music sites such as www.emusic.com, limewire and will be available on itunes in May.
