Wisconsin will have its say in the presidential race today and it’s a lot bigger than the pundits first predicted.
A relatively high 35 percent of voters will decide a primary that many thought would be decided by now.
The field of candidates for area elected offices in this spring’s election will be narrowed when voters participate in the primary election next Tuesday. Polling location and hours information is published elsewhere in this week’s Herald.
Many people may be unaware that Pierce County and the rest of the state votes in a presidential primary Tuesday, Feb. 19.
With all the early primaries and many candidates dropping out, it’s easy to overlook that Wisconsinites finally get a chance to weigh in on that date. Polls here will be open all day.
