PLUM CITY--The Plum City Evangelical Free Church has been expanded and given a more church-like look in the process.

An approximately 1,700 square foot addition was built on the front of the church, according to Pastor Philip Bloomdahl. A special window treatment is a highlight of the new structure.

"We wanted to distinguish the building as a church," Bloomdahl said Thursday, referring to him and the church board, and explaining, because the roofline doesn't lend itself to a steeple, the new large front window was divided to resemble a cross.

A dedication service and community open house is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 14.
