Jeremy Schutz of Ellsworth (right) won the adult division of the Eau Galle-Rush River Sportsman’s Club 41st annual trout fishing contest Saturday, May 7, with a 3 pound, 1 ounce, 20 ⅝-inch long brown trout, while 9-year-old Clint Hoyer of Ellsworth was proclaimed the Junior Class winner with his 1 pound, 13 ounce brown trout, which measured 17.25 inches long. The bikes were painted blue a few weeks ago by members of the National Honors Society from the high school. Isaac Curtis, owner of Crankworx Bike Shop, supervised.  Shown are Nicole Swanson, Samantha Gregor, Abbie Nelson, Hayley Snell, Derick Hansen, Maya Woodcock, Bailey Kusilek, and Anna Luebke (Not shown are Hunter Henk, Sawyer Henk, Cassie Laidlaw. Mazur was killed in a car accident last summer in Polk County, but her mother, Kim, is carrying on her memory through a scholarship fund for special needs children.
