Elmwood library gets large donations

By Sari Gordon

ELMWOOD--The Elmwood Village Board had no regular business on the agenda Monday. Trustee Mike Sand and Village President William Stewart were absent, and President Pro Tem Brian Buck presided.

Trustee Delores Radtke reported the Enrichment Council generously donated $1,000 to the library, in addition to $350 from Citizens State Bank, and $250 from Wayne and Pat Nohelty. Radtke reminded everyone there will be a Spring Garden Flea Market on Saturday, April 26, at the local auditorium, with the middle school choir performing.

A sleepover for the Little Miss Elmwood Pageant will be held this Friday. The movie “Frozen” will be shown next Monday after school.

The library’s new activity area is a big hit with the children. New items (129 total) were added to the catalog, total circulation is 1,648 and there were 49 downloads of E and E-audio books during February.
