Benefit for fire victims to be held Saturday

BELDENVILLE—A benefit for the victims of a house fire late last month will be held this Saturday at 2 p.m. at Clyde’s Corner in Beldenville.

“Friends Helping Friends” is the theme for the benefit for Jeff and Jodie Robey. There will be a live auction, a craft and bake sale, and food. A meat raffle is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Clyde’s Corner is accepting donated items in good and clean condition for the auction. Call Kathy Gutting at (715) 273-5142 for more information on the auction and meat raffle, and Sam Tufenk at (651) 900-9324 for more information on the craft and bake sale.

The Robeys lost their single-story home in the March 23 fire, from which nothing was salvageable. The early morning fire along County Road G in the Town of El Paso was believed to have been caused by a wood stove. No one was injured.
