Postal worker Jeff Hinchcliffe was delivering a package to a Cottage Grove, Minn., house when he heard the homeowner asking for help from inside the garage. The man had fallen and was lying in a pool of blood. Hinchcliffe called 911 and first responders were able to help the man. (Forum News Service photo by Scott Wente)

Hilary Boyer held two-year-old son Lucas at the family’s home in Spring Valley last week. Boyer suffered from Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy (ICP) during her pregnancy with him, with son Alec, now age five, and daughter Sydney, now eight. Ellsworth schools’ phy ed teachers, Ms. Graber and Ms. Wild, traveled to Waukesha on Oct. 23, where they officially accepted the Wisconsin School Health Awards. Ellsworth Middle School and Prairie View Elementary School received a bronze award, and Hillcrest Elementary School won a silver award.
