Book sales aren't new to the Ellsworth Public Library, but the organizers for the next one are.

The new "Friends of the Library" group will hold their first such sale Friday and Saturday, April 15 and 16. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Although this is a library event, it won't be located in that facility, but right underneath in the same building, according to Library Director Shelley Anderson and Angie Bjork of the Friends. The Senior Citizens Center has allowed use of its space on the library's lower level. Entrance will be through the back parking lot; signs directing the public to the site will be posted on the days of the sale.
