Lift accident benefit planned July 29

Submitted image.

A benefit for Troy Langer will be held at Clyde's Corner in Beldenville this Sunday, July 29, from 2-6 p.m.

On May 16, Langer, 33, of Ellsworth, was operating a one-person Genie lift while doing some electrical wiring at W6054 US Highway 63 in the town of Ellsworth, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department. The wheel of the lift caught the edge of the open floor drain, causing the lift to tip over with Langer inside. When the lift fell, Langer remained inside but struck his head on the concrete floor.

Doctors believe that it will take 1-2 years for Troy to fully heal from the fall that could have killed him if no one had been there with him.

The benefit will raise funds for medical costs for Troy's MRIs, CT scans, helicopter rides, and hospital stays

There will be food, poker tournament, raffles, live auction, and door prizes.

Any and all are welcome!

If anyone would like to donate for the benefit please contact
