Candidate line-ups set after Bay City, Maiden Rock caucuses

BAY CITY -- Candidates for the spring election on Tuesday, April 7, in two Pierce County villages were determined at caucuses last week.

In Bay City, which held its caucus Wednesday, Jack Celt and incumbent Jim Turvaville were nominated for the village president position, which is available this spring. Also available are trustee seat 1, presently held by incumbent Celt, with Jon Ebensperger and Jim Hince nominated as candidates; and trustee seat 3, with incumbent Jesse Hohmann as the lone candidate to be nominated.

Maiden Rock held its caucus a week ago Monday. Judy Johnson-Daleiden and Peggy Rother were nominated as candidates for the village president position, available in the spring and not being sought again by incumbent Douglas Lansing. Also available is the trustee seat presently held by incumbent Wayne Larson, with Julie Hecksel and Larson nominated as candidates.
