Curd fest concert artist rising to top

Danielle Peck has been signed to perform during the eighth annual Ellsworth Cheese Curd Festival, Saturday, June 27, along with Rhett Akins, Andy Griggs and Ash Bowers.

Peck's new digital album release, "Can't Behave," debuted Top Five on iTunes Top Country Albums chart. The album was released before Christmas and the fan demand for the title track fast-tracked a single release.

Peck was asked how important the fans are to her and how she has maintained such a strong relationship with them through the years.

"My fans are everything. They are the reason I get to live my dream," said the singer-songwriter. "They inspire me, they support me and I don't know what I would do without them. They were patient for new music and stayed in contact with me. I actually feel lucky that I can maintain a relationship. The Internet has helped me do that. I spend hours on MySpace everyday and get to read their messages and comments. I don't get a chance to meet everyone at shows, but I get to hear from them online. Some of them I have become really close to and they are like family now."

Peck filmed a music video for Can't Behave on Jan. 20 in Nashville.
