RIVER FALLS IMMUNIZATION CLINIC Pierce County Public Health Service's monthly River Falls immunization clinic will be held on Tuesday, May 5, from 3 to 5 p.m. at 174 S. Riverwalk (lower level of the Edina Realty building - entrance behind the building).  A consent form must be signed by the parent or legal guardian.  If a child must be sent with someone other than a parent (i.e., grandparent, babysitter, friend), signed written permission must be provided for the specific immunization(s) to be given that day. Donations are received at all clinic sites.  Contributions help assure the continuation of this valuable service in Pierce County. Make sure the entire family is fully protected.  With any questions about this important program, call a doctor or the Public Health Department at 273-6755.

THE SALEM PLAN COMMISSION will hold an open house on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. until noon at the Salem Town Hall. The purpose of the open house is to solicit comments and distribute information regarding draft elements of the Town's Comprehensive Plan.

PIERCE COUNTY REVOLVING LOAN FUND COMMITTEE will meet on Wednesday, April 29, at 8:30 a.m., Emergency Operations Center, Courthouse Annex, 414 W. Main St., Ellsworth. The following items may be discussed and/or action may be taken. AGENDA: Call to Order. Review/amend/action on minutes from Feb. 25. Review portfolio status chart and Semi-Annual Report to the State. Loan Proposal: National Nut Company, Ellsworth. Loan Proposal: Fitness Influence, Town of Martell. Loan Proposal: Peter Hogan, Prescott. Discuss payment of real estate taxes as eligible use of RLF funds. Revolving Loan Fund Manual revisions discussion and action. Revolving Loan Fund Management Fee proposal discussion and action. DENTAL CLINIC FOR PIERCE COUNTY CHILDREN The Pierce County Public Health Department offers a preventive dental clinic twice a month for residents age 2-18. This preventive dental checkup may include a dental exam, cleaning, fluoride treatments, X-rays and sealants. Medical Assistance (MA) will cover the cost of the dental appointment for eligible clients and those persons on Badger Care and Healthy Start.  A sliding fee scale is available for families whose income is 185 percent or less poverty (example: $3,269/month for a family of four). The dental clinic is located at the Public Health Department in Ellsworth. Call the department for an appointment at 273-6755.

NOTICE FOR THE TOWN OF ISABELLE The Comprehensive Land Planning committee for the Town of Isabelle will meet Thursday, April 30, at 8 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Red Wing Airport terminal building. Agenda: Set up public participation plan, review Town of Maiden Rock's and Town of Trenton's plans.

TOWN OF TRIMBELLE The monthly meeting for the Town of Trimbelle will be held on Tuesday, May 12, at 7 p.m. in the Trimbelle Town Hall. Agenda posted.

NOTICE OF MEETING TO ADJOURN BOARD OF REVIEW to later date Town of Rock Elm, Pierce County. Board of Review will meet on Monday, May 11, at 7:45 p.m. at the Rock Elm Town Hall for the purpose of calling the Board of Review into session during the 30-day period beginning on the second Monday of May, pursuant to Sec. 70.47 (1) of Wisconsin Statutes. Due to the fact that the assessment roll is not complete at this time, it is anticipated that the Board of Review will be adjourned to a later date, yet to be determined.
