Building projects start in Elmwood schools
ELMWOOD - The Elmwood School District will be undergoing some building projects in the next few weeks.
Among the significant is the installation of security cameras, both indoor and outdoor.
"School safety is a big topic and we need to be progressive," Superintendent Adam Zenner said. "It's all about the safety of kids when they're in the building."
Along with the installation of cameras, there will also be keyless entries. Zenner added that all projects are progressing and will likely be done by the end of summer. The total costs haven't been determined, but Zenner predicted the costs will be around $19,000 combined for all the cameras and keyless entry.
