Spring Fever Expo March 20 at Ellsworth High School

This presentation on parasites in pets was among the features during last year's Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce's Spring Fever Expo.

The Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce will coordinate its fourth annual Spring Fever Expo from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at the Ellsworth High School gymnasium.

The goal of the event, which is free to the public, is for Ellsworth area business to showcase their business to the public and for businesses to network with other businesses.

While the event is geared for adults, there will be plenty of kids' activities as well, such as having their picture with the Easter Bunny, courtesy of Buena Farrell Photography, jumping castle, coloring contest, egg toss, jump rope contest and a free-throw shooting contest. Entertainment and refreshments will also be available.

Chamber Assistant Laurie Cox explained there will be a scavenger hunt for the public to compete in. Upon their arrival, they will receive a card containing phrases relating to multiple businesses in attendance. Their mission is to match the pair up. She warns some will be more difficult than others. The winner will receive Ellsworth dollars.

Cox also stated businesses will offer door prizes as well, such as coolers, gift certificates and gas cards.
