T-Wolves gear up for crucial NBA Draft

MINNEAPOLIS - Six more players work out for Timberwolves coaches and administrators today in preparation for Thursday's NBA Draft.

Among those taking the practice court below the main floor of Target Center is Ryan Whittman of Eden Prairie, who was a standout guard at Cornell. He's also the son of former Timberwolves coach Randy Whittman. Also working out today is guard Paul George of Fresno State, who is expected to be a first-round draft pick.

The Wolves right now have picks numbers four, 16 and 23, and basketball operations president David Kahn says that should change before the draft starts. Kahn does not believe the Wolves will part with the fourth overall selection.
