Borton becomes U's women's hoops all-time winningest coach

MINNEAPOLIS - University of Minnesota women's basketball coach Pam Borton became the leader in career wins at the University of Minnesota when her team beat Northern Arizona 82-74 last night at Williams Arena.

The victory was the 173rd of Borton's nine-year Gopher career. Minnesota played without Jackie Voigt, who injured her ankle in practice earlier this week. Katie Loberg paced the Gophers with 20 points.
