UW football spring game today at 4 p.m.
MADISON - University of Wisconsin football fans flock to Camp Randall Stadium this afternoon for the annual spring football game. The Big Ten Network will televise the event with kickoff at 4 p.m.
The five-dollar tickets for admission will benefit the UW School of Pharmacy this year. The annual Badger Kids' Fair starts at 2 p.m. at the McClain Center, next to the stadium. Several other activities will be offered in addition to the preview of the Wisconsin football team.
The fans will watch the offense in white against the defense in Cardinal. The spring will be the first for new head coach Gary Andersen.
The University of Wisconsin has agreed on a home-and-home football game contract with the University of South Florida. It's part of an attempt to upgrade the Badgers' non-conference schedule, which has been relatively weak in recent seasons. South Florida will play the Badgers for the first time ever September 27, 2014, at Camp Randall Stadium. Wisconsin will travel to Tampa to play the Bulls in the 2017 season.
