Suppan and Bush to get start

Right-handers Jeff Suppan and Dave Bush will start today (Tuesday), when the Milwaukee Brewers play the first of two intra-squad games in Phoenix.

Each is expected to go about an inning.

Because there are fewer pitchers at spring training, Brewers' Manager Ned Yost says the scrimmages will only run about five or six innings.

They're the prelude to the Brewers' exhibition schedule, which opens on Thursday against Oakland.

Meanwhile, closer Eric Gagne missed Monday's workout with flu-like symptoms.

Catcher Eric Munson missed the previous two days for the same reason.
