Stricker, Kelly look to make cut for U.S. Open
MERTON, Penn. - Wisconsin natives Steve Stricker and Jerry Kelly are poised to make the cut at the U.S. Open.
Kelly (plus-one on the tournament) will have to finish out five holes of round two, though. Darkness prevented the Madison native from finishing the day. Stricker is tied for third at even through two rounds, he posted a 69 (one-under par) on day two.
Phil Mickelson and Billy Horschel top the leaderboard (one-under), after another tumultuous day two of the U.S. Open. Tiger Woods, who is suffering an elbow injury, shot an even 70 and is tied for 17th.
