Kentucky U.S. Senator Rand Paul won the poll with 31-percent of the vote, followed by Texas Senator Ted Cruz with 11-percent. While none of the Republicans in the poll have officially announced a run in 2016, the poll is gathered from 2,500 activist voters taking part in the conference.

Authorities say a man was killed on Friday night after crashing into a tree with his snowmobile. The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department says the 20-year-old victim was snowmobiling with three other people when he lost control and hit a tree. The identity of the victim has not been released. Authorities believe alcohol was not a factor, but speed and the victim’s unfamiliarity with the trail was a factor.
