Hudson Middle School associate principal resigns, accepts position in Prescott

Middle School Associate Principal Jim Dalluhn has submitted his resignation effective June 30, pending Board of Education approval. Dalluhn has accepted a middle school principal position with the Prescott School District. He has served 13 years in his current position in the Hudson School District.

In his letter to the Hudson Board of Education, Mr. Dalluhn said, “It has been a daily privilege to work alongside such a dedicated and talented group of professionals. I am also truly appreciative of the opportunities I have been given during my time with the Hudson School District.”

In response to Dalluhn’s resignation, Hudson Middle School Principal Dan Koch said, “Mr. Dalluhn has been a dedicated member of Hudson Middle School’s administrative team. He has brought a variety of leadership skills to the administrative table. Some of the things I value most about Mr. Dalluhn are his collaborative nature, support for the middle school concept, and his willingness to step up and get any job done. He is well prepared for this next step in his career, and I wish him the best as he assumes the role of middle school principal in Prescott.”

The district will immediately begin the selection process to identify a new Middle School associate principal. The district would expect to make a recommendation for this position to the Board of Education at its June 10 regular Board meeting.
